A shame he suffered that horrible injury before he hit his stride in the pros. I think that was the injury that finally got the sports world off its butt for developing better forms of artificial turf. Davis gave his career that other careers might live.
:lol: :lol: I was in Tigerband that year and I'll tell you, that was one of the worst feelings ever. AU fans were throwing drinks at us during the 4th quarter. I vowed that day that I would shove AU old ladies to the ground, steal little boys' footballs, shout profanities, and set fire to buildings on AU's campus. I still have an unopened can of "AU Cola" from that year. I bet they call it "Jungle Juice" now.
