The penalties are a major problem. The game wouldn't have been close if penalties hadn't killed several drives. At least two of them are on the coaches for not getting the play in on time (speaking of time management issues). At least three of them are offensive linemen who can't count to hut three. Facemasks, personal fouls, and holding continue to plague LSU.
Jefferson has to be Les' love child from a former teammate's sister or something, because the only cases i have ever seen where a coach is so stuck to a player is in little league or pee wee when a coach's son plays for him.
Well stated post. The only thing i would add is the number and timing of the penalties. Bottom line - we won Second Line - we need to up the offense and we did when it counted most.
