The penalties are a major problem. The game wouldn't have been close if penalties hadn't killed several drives. At least two of them are on the coaches for not getting the play in on time (speaking of time management issues). At least three of them are offensive linemen who can't count to hut three. Facemasks, personal fouls, and holding continue to plague LSU.

Penalties and 3rd and long are EXACTLY why LSU needs a QB that can throw the football confidently. JL at least showed on that last drive that he can be clutch.
