Re: Michaels commits to Texas A&M The character concerns I have alluded to awhile ago had to do with him missing 2-3 visits to LSU this year. If I was a coach and on the fence on whether or not to offer a player, I would say why would I offer you if you do not put in the effort to even show up.

Christine Micheals, do we have a shot? I know he committed to a&m, however, I am sure many of you who have followed his recruitment are aware that was not his first choice. He wanted LSU, but he waited too long.. And the LSU coaches didn't want to take another RB after Ford and Pratt, Calhoun.. Now that Pratt has left LSU.. seemingly for good? Does Miles contact Michaels again? Michaels said he is praying person, and prayed about this situation.. I believe him.. Perhaps God has opened the door for him.? Call Me nuts? But I believe this could happen. If he already enrolled at A&M, then I am nuts.. but I don't think he is an early graduate.. Anyways, he was one of my favorite RB's all along.. I can't believe LSU could not have a spot for 5 star RB.. He seems like a high character kid also. thoughts.. Pipe dream or possibility?

Re: Michaels commits to Texas A&M I think God Finally answered CM's prayers...3 weeks before NSD.. No worries If indeed that was CM heart all along, LSU? I don't know for sure, that' what most LSU fans believed having followed his recruitment since the summer. CM is easily the most talked about recruit outside of RR. Debose a close second.. but CM dominated the board discussion for months.. could get interesting IMO with the Pratt news, that give CM another scolly, that was holding CLM back from a CO.. Not sure how sold he is on A$M or he already enrolled on not? He looked real good in the AA game..big burst! I would love to have CM join this class, maybe too late?
Re: Michaels commits to Texas A&M He loved LSU. 100 % all LSU. I have a feeling that if we told him we had a scholarship waiting for him, he would decommit and take it. We just won't tell him that unfortunately.
Re: Michaels commits to Texas A&M If we would have lost Ford instead of Pratt then we might have attempted to go after him. Pratt and CM are similar backs and the coaching staff has not been high on CM for most of the recruiting process. I doubt losing Pratt would change their evaluations on Michael.
