I say we just give Herman a $1.3M/yr raise on top of his current salary, basically give him Miles contract, and then supplement it with incentives. With success he could exceed $5M/yr at LSU.
Just curious, are you guys ready to throw in the towel on Ferentz? I see a lot of similarities between him and Miles, minus the clock management issues and buffoonish perception.
Great minds. There's no downside to it that I see either. We were already paying $4.3M/yr for zero semblance of an offense, and it's going to take $$$ to get Herman here. It's almost a given that he'd pay dividends to the O his 1st season here, I mean with an Offense ranked 100 or lower, how much worse could it end up?
Minus a few extra passes a game, why would you fire a Miles to replace him with a Ferentz? He can't win the B1G don't see how he could compete for the West or the SEC.
