I saw Miles complaining after each one, so the officials should've been aware of something. But they called every one against us.

Just like every away game so far this year, the refs tried to do all they could to give it to Tennessee.

It sucks playing against the men in stripes.

I think that's a BS excuse for a lineman. Sure fool him once maybe.. but multiple times? Sheesh... When it's that noisey don't the linemen just look at the football anyways?

I never said that was the reason for EVERY one of them, but if it's obvious to a guy doing color commentary in a booth, it's got to be obvious to Miles on the sideline.

It's all about discipline and concentration for the Oline. I don't think most fans realize just how much talking, yelling, screaming, etc., goes on at the line of scrimmage. The QB making calls, Oline making calls, and the defense making their calls. Then you have Dlinemen yapping and jumping around before the snap and 100,000 fans yelling, and you can see why it takes complete discipline and concentration.

I understand being fooled once, but it's all on the Olineman after that.

The players are coached against this because it can be a penalty and it disrespects the refs who we don't want to prejudice. It's the coach's job to argue with the refs and he is given a great degree of latitiude on arguments that would get a player flagged in an instant.

Herman Johnson is a green, second-year reserve forced into premature playing time by an injury to Arnold. He just made some rookie mistakes, like they all do. He has to know his own snap count and not be influenced by stunting defenses. He's going to see it again, he knows it, and he will be better.

Big Herm also made the saving tackles on two of LSU's turnovers in that game. He's got his head in the game.

Anybody knows if LSU does/has ever worked with a silent count?

They sure didn't jump because of the loud crowd! That place sounded like a church.

I saw that penalty called during the Radiers/Seahawks game. An Oakland player was flagged for a 15-yarder I believe--for yelling out a fake snap count.
