Or you could look at it this way. Florida may be a little more banged up after having played a tough Auburn defense. Advantage, LSU.

This IS the SEC and yeah we could certainly drop one to Florida, or UK or Bama or ..... ? for that matter... BUT I think we have a better chance than anyone of wrapping the WESt up and possibly getting in the MNC. Remember there is alot of football left and although the talking heads say there may be some un defeated teams, USC or anyone could drop one.

We need to be realistic, we have a TOUGH schedule.... but I STILL think given our present team, IF they bring their A game through the rest of the schedule... We will prevail. I think they are that good.

I heard one of the commentators say one thing that WAS true last night, having talent will not win games, playing your BEST game will.

They need to be focuses and play A+ ball to win and if they do that, I don't think anyone can beat them Tigers! :geauxtige

I say its going to be florida 14 TIGERS 24

they messed us up last yr and its time for some Payback!

    Some silver linings:

The team stayed cool in the face of adversity (15 penalties, injuries, QB under pressure) and won easily.

The defense made Tulane punt ten times, forced 3 turnovers, and held the Green Wave to 88 yards rushing - Steltz had another great highlight reel hit.

Those uniforms are done. No more white helmets this year.

Charles Scott and Byrd had good outings.

Florida now has an SEC loss, early in the season, and we might not have to witness Tebow twice this year - that'd be great.

I'm staying upbeat - Florida is walking into a hornet's nest.

We can knock UF out of the SEC East race and the NC race in the same weekend. Tebow has to be getting some bangs and bruises to his body after the last two weeks and we are not going to help him any. He took a lot of shots last night and he will take a lot of shots next week. I think we need to control the clock and run the ball down thier throats and keep him sitting on the sidelines. We find out this Sat if we are really a NC caliber team or a pretender.
