LSU's managed to put up large numbers on better defenses than Ole Miss'. It's likely to become one of those games the team that punts the fewest times wins.
Perhaps sir Johnny you have not watched LSU play this year. Mauck barely trails Manning in efficiency and only trails by about 50 yards per game. And it is because our running backs are so talented that his stats are not even higher because we average about 150 on the ground too. You underestimate Mauck but you will understand that the boy is pretty damned talented come Saturday.
Arkansas, South Carolina, Auburn and Alabama all have bigger players than we do and all thought they could shut down our balanced attack, they all lost.
Well... we haven't played Arkansas yet, but South Carolina, Auburn, and Alabama didn't have much luck shutting us down either... so what does that prove?
Maybe it will turn into another 7 overtime game. I don't think I could make through it though, really stressful.
Ok Jonny I want an honest answer...what kind of a team do you tink Ole Miss will have next year. Is this its launch of a decade of domination in the SEC west?
Well that's honesty...I'll give you that. I think that's why Eli went there...lord knows he would have won a lot more games if he had gone to some other big name school...I can appreciate someone like that.
