I'll let you know.... I know that we are having a blood drive and jambalaya dinner at the Parish Hall on January 20th and will sell tickets then and probably have the drawing then too. This is all so new, since he just signed the photo today. If anyone wants more info you could email me [email protected].
I'm going to quote from another board about the book signing.... If I would have known, I might have driven up there for it... As much as I didn't want him to leave and as mad as I was at him, he's still a class act and I will always believe that...
The guy completely turned this program around and got us a national championship and left us in excellent shape. He is pursuing his NFL dream. I know he loves LSU and will always have a special place in his heart for LSU. I wish him luck and the best to him and his family and CONTINUED success.
The guy is a class act, plain and simple. I hate to see him go, but he got us a freaking championship, and I can't ask for more than that. Class act all the way. Glad to see he was well received in BR.
my girlfriend surprised me with a signed copy last night. She said that a father and son were in front of her and the son had a Miami Dolphins hat that Saban signed for him. The kid then told Saban good luck and when Saban said thanks the kid told him "your gonna need it".
I know for a fact Mrs. Saban is a class act. My girlfriend (she's now my wife) at the time worked for the family that owned Saban's house right before Saban became coach at LSU. The previous owners lived out of state and the Sabans didn't know how to work the security system, gates, cameras etc. They requested that my g/f go show them the ropes. She went and showed Mrs. Saban how to operate everything and when she left Mrs. Saban was extremely grateful and gave her a bottle of wine and a nice LSU Nike cap. I will miss Saban but this was expected and I do hope he does well. It would be nice for a former LSU HC to win the Superbowl one day.
