Since the Mississippi State thrashing has now exposed LSU's weaknesses on both the OL and DL, I was hoping one of the experts on the board could address the recent attrition on the lines. I know that Teuhema was suspended prior to the start of the season, but I would also like to know who else left and why. Did Coach O run guys off, or did he at the very least inherit a bare cupboard from Miles? I hope the coaching staff has some answers with the personnel we have, otherwise we're in for a long season.
I think our d-line isn't that worrisome. Here we have had attrition due to injuries more than anything, and some clearance issues. The o-line is a hot mess (les' baby if we all remember). He (les) wanted quicker smaller line men and now we are getting handled.
My philosophy is to have the biggest baddest lines then build speed around them. When you win the los, 9/10 you will win the game. Championships are won at the los. Being able to run the ball and stopping the run starts with great lines.
For All: How long do you think it is going to take us to recover from the coaching and recruiting philosophies of linemen from the Miles era?
Idk, how soon can we can Grimes? Where the hell is @LSUDad anyway? Remember all the sunshine he used to blow about this guy?
