According to LSUSports.net ... we had 28,658 for the 2002 spring game, which was the year following our SEC Championship and Sugar Bowl win. That game was played at 1:00 pm. For some reason, we only had 8,002 last year. I think we could top 30,000 this year if they did a little PR work...

8k sounds like a Saturday night in the swamp @ usl. Couldn't help myself I got three in hand and plan on buying more Sat.
8k is because it was a Friday afternoon (5pm). No one coming from work could get there, or after a long work week, wanted to get there, so it was pretty empty. I think this year, following the NC we should definitely be able to pull in close to 40k.
Just read the article from lsusports.net about tickets for the spring game. It sounds like the entire west side (lower also) will not be available for seating due to the construction. I'm guessing this is why they aren't promoting the game much. Capacity may only be in the 50K range.
