Since the Bowl Season is now officially over, what I learned from the BCS Games and other top-tier games is that you have to have a solid QB to give your team a chance to win.

I know we just got a new commit, but recruiting quality QB's has to become a priority for Les & his recruiting staff.

Who knew that 13-1 could leave such a bad taste in the mouth....

I agree with you regarding the need to have a solid QB. I think we will be fine in that regard going forward with Mettenberger ready to take over next year, and having Rivers and Randall as backups. Don't forget we also got Gunner Kiel, this year's top HS QB.

Thankfully the damage and fallout from Perilloux is now behind us.

The question is will CLM's offense improve? Will he run the option with Mett and Kiel? Will he throw the ball or continue to rely on the Big Ten offense schemes that he favors so completely?

Thankfully with both Mett and Kiel this is not an option. No pun intended.
But there will be no option with them at QB and I will be very happy to see it go.

I STILL CAN NOT understand with a former QB like Russell Shepherd that ran the option to PERFECTION, WHY WE NEVER developed ANY plays with him doing just that.................ANOTHER, top tier recruit is wasted!!!

Jefferson ran a few plays and got some yards but am I the only guy out there that thought my TV had reverted to slow motion mode when he would break and run?????:confused::confused:

:geaux: I always wondered how Spencer Ware would do in the Wildcat. That was bantered around quite a bit when he arrived, him being a high school QB and all. Never saw it though. Just sayin.......:LSU231:

I agree w/ you 100% TCUTiger! I am glad that we have that JJ/Lee era in in rearview mirror. I couldn't remember the Indiania QB's name..

Let's hope the players and coaching staff learn from our mistakes and move forward.

I can still remember you cursing RP up one side and down the other at halftime of the '08 AU game.

Sadly, we thought it would get better sooner.
