1. well, its a spanish last name. mexican isnt a language.
  2. +1,000,000 Exactly what I've been saying for years.
  3. Clearly, but his father is from Mexico which is why I didn't use "spanish".
  4. you are from america, do you speak speak american or english?
  5. Ask an Englishman.
  6. It says I must spread some rep around before giving it to you again.

  7. American, by God!!
  8. the difference between latin american spanish and spain spanish are more severe than the difference between US english and england english. it doesnt mean those are not simply regional variations of the same language.

also i read the story and the kid in it was named carvalho, which is clearly a portugese name. the other kids were named galli (italian) maciel (portugese) and dariano (italian). when i first glanced at the story i mistook the principal's name as the spanish one you meant. none of the kids have "mexican" or spanish names.
  9. You were reading the credits from "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly".:D
  10. thats crazy. they are well aware of why they like america, and that is why they are here. they do maintain some cultural and national pride, which is stupid, but excusable. like me wearing my LSU shirt on fall saturdays, or sabanfan's neighbors in breaux bridge displaing this:
