    He will be playing behind one of the worst offensive lines in the history of the NFL. Which means he can get a career ending injury any week of the season. I dont think anybody would risk his life for anything less than a huge deal with lots of guaranteed money. If what Russell is doing is considered stupid, I dont know what smart is...

    this is not the Raiders first rodeo. They knew round about what they would have to spend to sign him and had a plan for that. Let them decide, if Sapp was going to need to be cut that was planned before they picked JR.

    I'd not get too worked up about that until that rumor becomes a confirmed announcement. It's not like he's the only first rounder that hasn't reported to camp on time... this is business as usual in the NFL.
