Our RPI is ~30, last I checked 64 teams make the tourny. Sounds like we deserve to be in the tourny to me.... And a #2 seed at that.
We were 13-17 in conference, lost 7 of our last 9 games, were the last seed and backed into the conference tourney where we won only 1 game. LSU is one of quite a few teams that will make the tourney but doesn't deserve to, 64 teams invited makes sure of that.

I repeat I don't believe LSU deserves to get in as our nonconference schedule was abysmal and we were 2 games under 500 in conference play and had a .333 winning % at the SEC tournament. I know in basketball I hate it when teams from the ACC or Big East get in with losing records in conference play of over 1 game b/c imo unless you go out and schedule a TOUGH nonconference schedule and have a winning record vs them you probably didn't do enough to "guaranttee" a spot in the tournament.
38 < 64. Still sounds like we deserve to be in it. I know there are alot of not so bright spots about this team, but we've also won some games against top ranked teams in the country.
Boydsworld has moved up to #37 in rpi following the conference tournaments. 38<64 however, it isn't always the "best 64" that get in as some conferences will send in a tournament champion that isn't in the top 64 in rpi. We're squarely on the bubble although I do think we get the 3 seed in a regional however undeserving we may be. Also dany don is reporting that there are rumors that LSU is getting sent out West to Oregon State's regional.
