    I thought of the same thing when I saw that stat line over the weekend. Plus IIRC, the defense had been on the field the whole second half and were gassed.

    It would be nice if they would beat VT this weekend, because 1) it should boost them into the top 25 which would give us a boost on our quality wins and 2) it would drop VT in the rankings which would give BSU a hit in their quality wins. Which is just 1 of the stars that can align to help us get to the BCSNCG.

    Not sure, but weren't they mostly from their defense? I forget how many offensive starters they were missing.

    They were missing there #1 and #2 RBs and their best offensive weapon...the #1WR

    Correct.

    If he has been working under those conditions all year long, he probably would be injured and out for the season based on all the sacks and hits he would have taken.

    I think 6 of them were suspended for the year. I believe all the rest are back with the exception of 2...this was the last I heard
