But the Petreaus case didn't set precedent because it is not at all similar to the Clinton case. Petreaus knowingly (intent) gave classified material to his lover (biographer). Petreaus knew that they information was classified but gave it to her anyway. Further, Petreaus' then lied to the FBI about it.
