I'm talking at bama, how many coaches did they go through between bear and nick? We were talking about this tonight
Click on the ESPN link below and look at the URL in the address bar… http://espn.go.com/college-football...-longhorns-hire-nick-saban-50m-5year-contract Hmmm
That's too funny, everyone is a winner here except Alabama. Sexton wins, Saban wins, Alabama only wins if Saban comes back and wins championships. I mean they had to have known that linking that would show the Saban 5yr 50 mil thing, there are tons of conspiracy theories that could be spun, along w tons of chatter being caused and people clicking that link to read, so in a way ESPN wins too because of traffic. Or maybe that's the plan.
Chip Brown from Orangebloods.com said the AP broke a story back in January that a regent has a discussion that involved a $7 million price tag. Brown said he can't see them coming off that number and that if it isn't enough for Nick Saban, then Texas would move on. This was an interview he did today on Fox Sports 1.
I think people are missing another positive, how easy it will be for him to make the playoffs at Texas compared to Bama.
I still think he stays at bama, but I'm usually wrong about these things because I think about loyalty, allegiance, trust, etc.
C. Brown was also asked if he thought Saban was coming to UT. He replied that he didn't know but that everyone in Austin seems to thinks he is (and I got the vibe that he wasn't just talking about the fans).
