1. every sitting President has lost control in Congress going back for years. Obama has made plenty of mistakes because of his leadership style, but on the whole, the main indicator which is the economy is doing better. Not as good as it should be doing. I blame both parties for that.
  2. Of the things I dislike and blame Obama for, the economy is not one of them. He has done as good a job as can be done. What could be better could also be a lot worse.

  5. Yeah, that's the line that Republicans are running with but there us no real evidence to support it. Obama's approval rating is low, but it's no where near Bush-low, so the comparison there fails miserably. Polls show that voters disapprove of what the Republicans are doing versus the Democrats. What this shows is that the Republicans are playing politics much better than the Democrats.

That Obama is even a discussion in this election cycle is proof enough at how the voters are being played as fools. Voting against a guy who isn't running over your own interest is just dumb.

  6. Laughable. Bush was the discussion in 2006 just as Obama is now. Without Bush the Democrats would not have taken both branches of congress. Republicans are playing better politics because they have the better hand right now. Their supporters are more energized and midterm election voting is low. Obama gives no one any faith. No one is rallying to support him. Just like Bush.
