Most of you have already heard this but if you haven't here is a very (very) interesting interview of Richard Dickson on 104.5 radio. Covers LSU QB situation, Les Miles and the very last question on why the tight ends are not being thrown to more. Worth a listen. http://stationcaster.com/player_skinned.php?s=3543&c=16223&f=3450073
This is an interview of Richard Dickson who played on the 2007 Championship team and whose brother is on the current team. So much it is hard to cover but here are some high points. * Should not run no huddle with a Freshman QB in in first start at Jordan Hare. In no huddle the QB calls the play only for the OL. For everyone else the play is called from the sideline. Looked like two different plays were being called at times. That could be what the players meant by not being on the same page. * Veterans needed to step up and settle Harris down and help him. He didn't see that. * Fans booing Jennings was pathetic. * Miles does not call plays. He will override a play he doesn't like in a certain situation but other than that he doesn't call plays. * Tight ends are not being used in the passing game because of the complexity of TE routes. The QB has to see so many things. Defensive linemen in your face, linebackers roaming around etc.. possibility of interceptions, especially with the QBs LSU has. Safer to throw to the outside. LOTS more. I'm on a desktop using Chrome, link doesn't look like it works on mobile devices.
