That is not because the players are pussies, it's because golf is a gentleman's sport. That is what makes golf such a pleasure...there are expectations for behavior that apply to everyone on the golf course......fans, employees and players alike. People don't have enough respect "these days" at golf courses, in my opinion. Besides every sport has its own internal codes of behavior. Ask hockey players about fighting. Does that mean football players are pussies because they get tossed for throwing a punch?

So are players who get a free ride to play a sport in front of thousands of people and millions on TV, who have been recruited and treated like royalty solely because of a physical talent they possess, and gets his feelings hurt because fans voice displeasure at a piss poor performance.
