With our luck, he'll transfer somewhere play LSU in a bowl and torch us.

The Shreveport Times had an article that said Clausen has been released from his scholarship and could play for a D1 school after sitting out a year. I would think he would go back west closer to home if he is going to play at a small school. But several of the small schools around here probably would love to have him. Just as long as he doesn't go to ULL he should be OK.

CNN-SI online quotes the advocate who quotes Nick Saban....

"LSU coach Nick Saban told The Advocate of Baton Rouge that Clausen has not decided which school he'll attend. Kent Lowe, an LSU spokesman, told The Associated Press on Tuesday that he could not confirm Clausen's transfer.

Clausen, who would have been a sophomore in the 2003 season, plans to sit out this season and will have two remaining years of eligibility in 2004 and 2005, The Advocate said"
