The show was getting a little old last season. Interest in Phils death kept ratings up and they really played that up. The skippers probably knew that the end of the show was near.
Oh no!!! Well, like someone else here said, those were my 3 favorite boats on the show. Granted, I'll still have a look at next season (if they still do it) to see if it interests me enough to hang on, but I doubt it. Phil was my favorite of them all (R.I.P. Capt. Phil!!). I liked the Time Bandit but could have done without them... but not the Northwestern also. This sucks
i read today that Discovery is trying to come up with some deal to get those 3 captains back on the show.
Don't know if he officially quit but he did say multiple times last season that he wasn't coming back.
