Rita is heading straight for Louisiana

    Uhhh, . . . four out of five models has Rita hitting Texas. Four out of five also show the storm taking a sharp westward turn after landfall.

    I say move the game to Sunday. The storm will have moved on westward.

    I don't understand the use of the word 'officially'. You yourself said in your opening post, "Computer models subject to large errors. Do not use for planning purposes."

    While I agree that the storm looks like it's going to go in close to the State border, the fact that one computer model has it going into Louisiana doesn't mean a whole lot.

    It better not get switched to UT. At the very least it should be at a neutral site close enough to where LSU fans can attend it. Otherwise I still maintain we need an AD that needs to represent LSU better than agreeing to playing a road game as opposed to a neutral site game just because UT is too afraid to play us at home where they know they will LOSE.
