LSU must work on the back peddling drill incessantly. It was applied to perfection when Tebow ran over 4 of your defenders and drove them back 12 yards.

Dorsey and the Tiger defense are gonna hit Tebow and hit him hard. Hit him all the way back to homeschool.

LSU has an excellent Defense. I think they respect Tebow, unlike some of your posters, just as Tebow respects them. Tebow is a big boy. I think he can handle the hits. LSU coaches know that if you concentrate on Tebow too much we have a few guys like Harvin, Caldwell, Rainey, Ingram, Murphy, Fayson, etc that can hurt you also.

    Should be a great game.

Who do you guys hate more? Saban or Tebow? I have to think its Saban a 1,000 times more.

Thanks for the kind words about our D. As far as Saban/Tebow, I don't "Like" either one but recognize and admit what each brings to their facet of the game. Saban is a very good recruiter/coach and Tebow, at least in high school, was phenomenal (Didn't he break some HS records in Fla?) and I believe his skills will transfer to the college level.

Which Florida forum do you post on? Just curious and you don't have to answer.

I don't hate anyone. I just am scared of the playmaking ability Tebow showed last year. However, I think it's a bit of a Robert Lane situation possibly.

Because of the constant hype. It's like the hate for Perrilloux. They hype some of these high-school All-Americans like they were Superman and it's hard to measure up to expectations. Really, I don't think it's personal hate for Tebow, just for the Tebow mythology. If he can do as well as Leak did in his first year as a starter, then much of the Tebow skepticism will vanish.

But last year he seemed like a running back playing out of position. He's not going to be successful in the SEC if all he can do is run between the tackles. He has to show us an arm this season and the ability to lead a team, not just "get the ball to Tim and let him operate".

Interesting and I agree with your take. I won't bother with the detail but SC has one QB facing that exact same problem. These kids are under immense pressure.

Uscvball, I can only assume you are talking about Sanchez when you mention one QB at USC?

As for Tebow, that little jump pass last year got on my last nerve. It DID make us look like idiots, and I hated it. In fact, the game went way downhill for us from there. Hence, I decided right then and there it would be a long four years having to deal with Mr. Tebow. But I've felt that way about a lot of SEC players. It seemed like Cadillac Williams and Matt Jones were around forever; they were playmakers. Many opposing posters on this forum said they were thrilled when Skyler Green was gone from LSU--because you always knew he was capable of taking it to the house on punt returns.

Tebow is arrogant? Maybe...maybe not. Many of our beloved Tigers are also arrogant, but that makes a great athlete sometimes. Swagger may be the better word. Tebow has it, as well he should.

He's the one. So much hype and expectation. Last year 1/2 the fans wanted him to replace Booty. This year with Corps and Mustain coming in, the doubters are already questioning whether Mark will "ever live up". He is incredibly nice and respectful and his parents are great people too. His dad works Fire/Rescue here in Orange County and missed Mark's first game because he was in NOLA helping out with Katrina search and rescue.

And I agree with the swagger.....you have to know what winning feels like.

Sanchez is where Perrilloux is with LSU.
