Not to mention Claussen over at ND.......thought for sure you'd touch on him, they are all peas in a pod.

Teabag is notoriously arrogant, and has been since high school (and likely before, but I can't vouch for that). You're putting words in my mouth by assuming that I'm referring to his on-field actions, which I am not.

My advice to you is to learn how to take trash-talking a little more in-stride before visiting rival forums.

What bothered me about that was the announcers were acting as if it took some phenomenal athlete to make that pass, when the truth is that any bozo with two legs and one arm can do it. He just caught us off-guard, he did not dazzle us with some unparalleled athleticism.

I could have but since he's yet to take the field for even ONE game yet, I suppose he may end up fulfilling the hype.

He's also at least 1/2 responsible for his own hype- a league of his own you might say.

Sanchez has been in way more trouble than Perrilloux.

exactly, that's why I said the credit should be given to the coach.

Mark Sanchez was falsely accused of sexual assault by a jilted former girlfriend........well, technically accused by the girl's mother, after all she's the one who called the police. Mark's arrest included 5 squad cars, a helicopter, and the local media......wonder who tipped the media off to his arrest since that is NOT protocol for arrests of that nature.

He was made to take final exams by himself and had his picture and one side of the story (not his) all over the news. He never said a false or negative word against this girl. She recanted the story (especially after it was found out she'd done it once before at another school) but Mark's reputation was trashed.

Both players seem to have gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to media and public scrutiny. I personally thought way too much was made of RP's situation and I'm glad to see he's returned to practice. Still, it's pretty hard to shake the accusation of sexual assault.

I agree. Tebo did impress me with his running ability. Especial considering the fact that when he came on there was a 90% chance it was going to be a run and we still couldn't stop him. The jump pass however was very much over hyped IMHO.

This is the most over used and incorrect statement made during the preseason. :dis:
Ask Auburn if preseason rankings mean nothing.
