    Must be an Auburn fan.
    What a moron.
LSU can play division III teams if they want to, the SEC schedule still makes it twice as hard as a Punk-10 or Little-12 schedule. In the SEC, ANYONE can win on any given Saturday.

It wouldn't be so bad if they would put our OOC schedule in context and mention all of the teams that have left us hanging at the last minute without an opponent. Then again they wouldn't be able to make their witty little comments.:dis:

Ha. before getting mad, Ill keep it in context. i used to respect his unbias views yet he is totally lost here. LSU's non conference schedule is the reason it won the NC? UGA X 2 come to mind? this is an article of someone who is lost. He has no clue which i thought he did.

Does he really believe LSU was on some feel-good run and Oklahoma was reeling? you have to be kidding me. what a loser. LSU 34-Auburn 17. thanks for playing. welcome to the real SEC. Saban has just changed the surroundings and you aint gonna like it, finebaum.

    What a crock of............

All last year what did we hear.... "Historically LSU can't win the big game" Historically LSU can't do this" "Historically LSU can't do that". BLAH BLAH BLAH.

The historical argument for proving/disproving something is so freakin rediculous!

You're right about that. Last years LSU team would have handled Marshall, Bowling Green and whoever else chickened out of a Saturday in Tiger Stadium as easily as they handled their rent a win replacements. LSU may not repeat. The road schedule is brutal. FeinButt has the right to state whatever misguided opinions his brain dead editors will let him but for him to make remarks like "was Slippery Rock not available?" and
"Secondly, LSU was able to face a reeling Oklahoma team in the Sugar Bowl instead of Southern Cal, which most objective analysts agreed was the best team in the country at year's end and would likely have tamed the Tigers." goes over the line of sheer idiocy. LSU played a very good OU team that would have wiped the field with USUCK even playing as they did in the Sugar Bowl. OU's high powered offense looked like it sucked for one reason only - LSU's Defense. IF OU would have played the Toy Boys of Troy's defense nobody would be questioning whether Jason White deserved the Heisman. LSU could have just as easily won by 28 as they did by 7. Even Pete Carroll wouldn't be claiming a bogus NC if they had had to face the Tiger defense.
Georgia was better than USUCK and LSU pushed them all over the Georgia Dome.
