if you say so... I don't think the popos'll dig it though.

Neither will my family, now that I mention it.

If it's you're first trip to Auburn, then you're in for a treat. You will get your first experience with their obnoxious (to use a term they refer to us as), arrogant fans that will confront you...I guarantee it. It's happened to me every year and every year I go there I'm humble in victory or defeat.

Year before last, four guys surrounded my wife and I on the way back to the truck and started cursing me out. Needless to say it was a rather precarious situation. I got out alive, but did get in my two cents worth.

They are jewels!!! It's little man syndrome. They can't get used to the fact that they will always be the other school in the state of Alabama.

I've had nothing but pleasant experiences on road trips to Auburn. It's the other Bama school whose fans are obnoxious, arrogant and classless. I'm never going to a Bama road game after my experience in a Tuscalooser last year.

Have you ever gone to one of their forums? Over 50% of the threads are about Bama...all year long.

I was there the year after the NC and the aubies were wearing National Chumpionship buttons trying to mock our winning the National Championship, so I asked one what Chumpionship did they win giving them a hard time; they got very flustered as I ridculed their National Chumpionship and laughed at them.

I disagree here. Bama is slowly becoming that other school in the state of Alabama. Now that Auburn has surpassed Bama, I don't see Bama ever dominating Auburn like the old days. Today's recruits see Auburn as just a good, if not better, program to play for. Plus, I don't see Bama cheating again anytime soon, which means no more college football dominance.:hihi:

Last time I was in Auburn was when the Barn burned down. In general, we were treated pretty decent, both before and after the game. Of course, one of my close friends went to Auburn and we stayed with them in his trailer in Opelika on a tree farm (Oh the irony). Too bad he became an arsehole after he went there. That seemed to be a trend among several people I know who enrolled there. Never could quite figure that out. They aren't just arseholes to LSU people, they're arseholes in general.:(
