It looks a lot like Trindon's, never know it could be his, especially if the yahoo selling doesn't know any better!

Yeah, but that could mean just an official Schutt helmet. Meaning it is rated to actually play football with it, instead of just a "look-alike" that offers no protection.

I never heard of this before. I don't think ebay lets you do this. Maybe someone just put in a high maxium bid.

 

Nah, someone just put a high max bid. I bid on it when it was cheaper, and kept the lead for nearly a full day.

 

Yeah, they are expensive. An "authentic" one, Meaning only that it is the same name brand, and certified for contact play, will net you over $100 easy. And that is with no numbers or name attatched to it, just the school colors and logos.

 

this year they wore both helmets. I seen players in the same game with both brands. But i have a very big problem with it though and it might be just a mistake on the sellers part. But in 2005 we did not go to the BCS. Jan. 2005 was the Capital One Bowl.

 

I was wondering if it was a fake. Apparently it is.

 

Could be a practice helmet...I don't think they have just one.
