i like this better and is the way my feelings go, especially for some of the most sought after. reasons: collins will feel those home strings pulling as time comes to announce; howard sure seems to be juiced for lsu (but have to get past momma) and need to complete visit to cement those feelings; edwards jr is finding disappointment with other suitors (fsu not really there yet and distance issues); texas is closest but has been a mess the last couple of years even with top recruiting classes and talent (and may not change until change at the top comes). and, as we know, what is there not to love about lsu? clm is a players coach and he has surrounded himself with top notch staff; great time to be tiger fan with future looking bright. don't need to replace so much as reload. 2nd and 3rd string players play as much as 1st string in some cases. to me, all of this just spells AWESOME! however, will be interesting to see how the 'distance' issues work out as signing date nears.
Question for those who follow our recruiting needs/wants... Which recruit is most likely to take the scholarship spot that was originally reserved for Landon Collins? ... and will that slot still be used to fill a need at defensive back for this class?
