He sat out in 03. We just didn't play UT that year.. in fact, i think that infamous game this past year was the only game he played in against us.
Yea, but JR & MF don't have but 2 seasons left with us, while RP has 4 and we have no one behind him. It doesn't matter whether the other QBs will be fine without him, how will our team be without him? Not just now, but next year or the next? And what kids do in highschool does having something to do with D-1 football. The reason they play D-1 football is because of what they did in highschool, and rivals recently released an article about how 90% or so of the first round draft picks were rated 4* or higher when recruited out of highschool.

I think RP should stay cool and be patient. He ought to know that his time WILL come sooner or later at LSU. He will enjoy the best chance for success as the team is loaded with supporting cast talent in a high profile football program. Timewise, he will have to sit out a year anyway if he transfer. Doen't make that much sense, or unless he is having doubts about himself in being able to compete against the other QB's:dis: . ________ SILVER SURFER VAPORIZER
CP, I take your point, but we lost at least 1- 4 star qb out of high school because R.P. said he was staying here. This team needs a high school phenom to commit and stay at least 3 years and I don't care if they don't play their first year.. Alex Cate was our next high school phenom and RP talked shi[[ about being on board and bla, bla,. So A.C. did not sign with LSU/ hindsight is 20/20.
