As in a Super Bowl appearance? 11 of the teams Pendry has been on have made it to the playoff's...out of the 17 teams he's been on. That's coaching. NOW, what you aren't realizing is the same process is happening with Saban at Bama that happened with Saban at LSU. He's calling OC's, finding out their interest, gauging their offensive techniques, and making a move from there. There has only been one offer, that to Fisher, and that one withdrawn. He's been in contact with several candidates...but, no "official" announcement has been made. Make of it what you will...I'm happy with where he's headed. The D staff is in place...and it's solid. No offer has been tendered officially,(as in OC) as yet. But, if you look over his entire career you would be self-deleting this thread....trust me.
This could be a good hire from a recruiting stand point. An NFL OC would compliment an NFL head coach, giving the recruits what appears to be a fast track to the big league. Also, an NFL OC ( albeit a poor one) should be able to put together a simple but effective college scheme.
Tanslation: "I wish you had posted this on my forum where I could have censored your butt and deleted it." I kid, I kid!
Pendry is the EX-Texans offensive coordinator. Troy Calhoun was the OC under Kubiak, and he recently accepted the head coaching job at Air Force.
Just when you least expect it (which is pretty much all the time in this case), a Texans fan shows up.
Terry's post was probably the only one in the thread that contained valid information. Does that not fit into your perception of the purpose of the board?
