    No, as part of coming back from his fake injury and trying to shed the Musharaf look, he changed his name to Williams. He says that's his real family name anyway.

    Since Bobby Bowden took Jimbos contract off the table, and then hired him the next day, I dont think this necessiarly classifies him as a liar.

    I understand why some fans might have missed it. It was announced on the news in between Saban's announcement to go to Bama and the Sugar Bowl.

    He didnt feel right using his brother's Dad's name(who he didnt know very well) and it would help him refocus on returning to the player he was before the injury. He took is now using his mother's last name.

    He said on the local news here, he wanted to play under the same number he had at LSU! I thought that was particularly awesome of him...

    Semantics, again. If you recall...Fisher went on a hunting trip with his brother over the weekend...and, it was that weekend that the offer was withdrawn because Fisher didn't like the buyout clause. Can't blame him, really. Sad to say, he lost what?...180K for stalling with FSU also. But, no buyout.

    The guy deserves a chance at the HC position...but, it would have been a death sentence if he took it at UAB.
