Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner. I am fortunate to live about 3 miles from campus but it still takes me a good 45 minutes to get home from a game if I leave at the end which I do for most games (except ULM, Tulane, etc (OOC)). We really need a better traffic plan around LSU (and BR). Traffic is out of control and the cops don't know what the F*** is going on.

I live 2 miles from the stadium down river road and it takes me 2 hrs to get home if i leave right after game.

As for the expansion, i believe when it says between 2012 and 2025 that is a good sign it is a rumor.

The cops make it more awful on river road. If they just let the traffic flow it would move a lot faster.

You might want to start thinking about possibly riding a bike or walking to the game if you only live two miles from the stadium. That is if you have a bunch of tailgating stuff then **** man, just sit, relax, have a beer and wait till the traffic clears.

Anyone know what the total capacity of the stadium would be under those renovations? Seems to be well over 100K. That'd put us in the top 5 in college stadiums...

Traffic is already a big problem and each season they seem to block off more and more areas. I, like Purple Tiger, had a spot to park for the first two games then they blocked it off for the rest of the season. I had to get there even earlier to get a decent palce to park and I'm not even close. This is out by the Ag Center.

I've noticed some of the streets leading back to I-10 are open for somegames, but not others. Example: Lee I took that street back to the interstate twice this season, but on a couple other occassions, it was blocked off.

Same here, but they are probably laughing at us too because there is absolutely no shortcut to Burbank from the North side of the stadium, god I hate that walk, especially after last year's Tennesee game.
