Right now, we may actually be playing to our full potential based on the experience and talent on the oline. And when I say that I'm not saying we cannot improve, but that it is an ongoing developement thing with the oline. As they play together longer hopefully they will jell and provide more running lanes, I'm sure that is where most of the focus is in practice for the oline. Actually, Searels is our oline coach, though Miles is also an oline coach and he probably is spending more time than normal working with these guys now.
Me either Just a feeling. Our O-line is relatively young, but talented. They practice every day and are most assuredly reviewing their performances and working on getting better. That's why/how teams improve over the course of a season. Neither am I, but that's all we've seen so far. I was over it on the Monday after the game. It took me a while longer to cool my anger at the officiating. I do not go into the season expecting an undefeated NC team. If it happens, great, but only one team usually gets tpo do that )NC and undefeated. Think about it. Why should some people get so upset after losing a close one on the road to Auburn? To that point we had steamrolled USL and Tulane but it's not like that signalled an unbeatable juggernaut. It's all in the attitude I guess. You're probably right, but the one dimension we have is looking pretty good. As do I. :thumb:
I like the way Scott runs. I think the message is clear for UF. Scott will be starting. He doesn't go down as easy as AB or JV and keeps fighting. MSU has a pretty decent front 4 and shut down K. Irons basically. I don't think LSU will break out in the running dept but I think it is improved slightly. That has got to get better though. The pass blocking is good though. They give JR time. JR has to feel comfortable in the pocket or he starts lobing the ball and not stepping into the throw. If he is comfortable that dude is deadly accurate. The most accurate in college foot ball.
If bama can average ALMOST 3 yards per carry (2.76666) against Florida, you should have your breakout game. The only big question is will Marcus Thomas still be suspended. If you get suspended 1 game for the first failed drug test, would a second failure cost only two games, (UK and bama) as the meat of the schedule is about to happen .
