Without any facts, how can you be so sure that this was a misguiding post? and therefore discredit it?

I believe the poster was , like any good Tiger fan, trying to share information which he believed Tiger fans were eager to know, rather than putting out malicious lie or fabrication(and for what purpose?).The tone of the post was sincere, and so please do not trash him although everyone is free to doubt it.

In any event, if the post turns out to be true, JR may land in the 80% chance of recovery, which is not bad odds. The wrist is heck of a complex joint. The main thing is that we all hope he can do well after he heals.

A couple of years ago, my brother-in-law broke his wrist playing softball and had surgery. He never regained full range of motion it it. His wrist works, it's just not nearly as flexible as before the surgery. If that happens, I could see where it would be tough to play QB.

I had my right wrist and part of my hand recostructed a couple of years ago. (Thank God, I am left handed!) I had shredded several ligaments. It took two surgeries and I was in casts from February through September. I still don't have full range of motion or strength, and it will probably never be 100%. But, considering I couldn't grip with that hand at all, I'm not gonna complain.

Being that JR is a young guy, and if he didn't shred it, hopefully there will be a chance he can get back to 100%. Is the injury to his throwing wrist?
