Scout had something about it awhile back and I think it was Shea Dixon who said at least 2 or possible 3 games will be on national TV. I know that at least one of them will be on ESPN or ESPN2.

I am going to see if I can find the update with that info today.

"We are getting three of our games picked up on television," Shepard said. "ESPN is going to air one game nationally. Fox and CBS are also both trying to get games on regionally."

Looks like he will miss the Elite Camp becuase he has Summer classes if he wants to graduate and enroll early. Also some info from the camp this weekend.

Not only is the relentless recruit working towards a successful high school season, he is also continuing to mold a dynamic 2009 recruiting class for his future Tigers’ squad.

“I still speak to coach [Les] Miles and [Gary] Crowton pretty often,” Shepard said. “I called Trent (Richardson) tonight and I’ve been talking to Adre Debose as well. Adre is a talented dude. He’s another guy from the Florida area and he is interested in LSU. I think he’s very underrated. I’ve never seen anyone move like him before.

I continue to be impressed with this kids attitude and understanding that being a team leader is the most important thing for success.

"Coach [Gary] Crowton [LSU's offensive coordinator] and Coach [Les] Miles have expressed to me that I should have a role as a freshman at quarterback in play action, roll-outs and the read-option and the plan is to play quarterback," Shepard said. "I do not expect to redshirt and plan on graduating early to get a jump start at LSU.

"I just need to continue [improving] my knowledge of the game and my position in terms of developing as a quarterback. My goal is to be one of the best collegiate quarterbacks when I attend LSU. So there is always going to be room for improvement in my game."

Shepard knows he won't be able to do it alone. He says his teammates are the key and he has worked hard for them.
"My goal is to win another district title, to win a state championship and to help every receiver on my team get a scholarship," he said. "I felt they worked so hard with me this spring and are going to work there butts of this upcoming summer and I can help them out by doing my very best to get them to the next level."
