I just honestly think he's a legend in the making, and Im so damn proud he wore the purple and gold. And btw, its my favorite topic because of the upcoming draft, the next big event for LSU:rofl: (3 first rounders, a no. 1 pick overall, your damn right Im excited!!:thumb: ) EDIT: And I would prefer to name it this way. Im a man who is deeply in love with LSU!!
Yahoo article on this drafts QB's. Rankings. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=jm-quarterbacks021507&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
Don't know if Russell has the strongest arm of all time but without a doubt has the quickest wrist. Would not like to get in a javlin fight with him looking at those gaudy numbers.
Wikipedia isn't the most trustworthy site...because anybody can sign up and put information on there. I wouldn't doubt that he could do 245 back then though. I defintely like the idea of a javelin fight, how bout between JR and Brady for the #1 Pick?? I think it would really show how worthy the #1 pick would be if they did it this way :thumb:
complete bs culpepper is now a tub-o-lard. hes in the conversation at least. seems theres some correlation b/t winging a javelin and the pigskin. interesting.
When Bert (the "Ruston Rifle") was at LSU, I heard he once chunked it from one end line into the other end zone - over 100 yards. I aways wondered if that was true.
