I don't think that Teabag will be leaving UF early. Sure, he's great in college. But he does not grade out well as a pro-style QB. Believe me, I wish he did. I'd love to not have to deal with that dude for 2 more years. But he's got a poor throwing motion, and his running style won't cut it in the league.

completed 67% of his passes, threw 32 tds and had only 6 ints and proved he is tough as hell, getting hit 250+ times.

I do not care what his "style" is, some NFL team would roll the dice on the dude in the very early rounds...

and if you're Tebow, why not go pro early? Meyer will never change his system, so whether he is a junior or a senior or a freshman, the knocks will always stay the same on him (the things you mentioned).

It was the same for Steve Slaton at WVU. A senior year couldn't make him 2-3 inches taller.

The 2006/7 Transfer guide says he needs an exception to policy. The tough part of the read is figuring out if RP qualifies for an exception. Happily (except for my wallet) I'm not a lawyer...

Honestly, I can't see where it says he can play for any 4 year college next year unless he gets an exception. If he were going Juco/Comm Coll, then he'd be gtg. In that case, he could transfer back up to 4yr as long as he graduates from the 2 yr school and has been gone from LSU more than a year.

    Easy, no?

    OK, did some more reading.

    From the 2007/08 Guide.

It looks to me like RP qualifies for a one-time exception since he's transfering as an eligible athlete with two years remaining. This would allow him to go to Jax State.

However, it's a one-time exception. After that, he has to sit out a year. I guess he could still do that. But that means he'd play for Jax in 2008. Sit out 2009. Then play his senior year at some other university in 2010?
