I didnt skip it. I commented on it saying that the other party would be looking to escalate the problem no matter what Ryan said. It would seem as if they were trying to already agitate him, did it not? It takes up too much room on the page and makes it easier to read. I selected this because this is all I wanted to talk about. The other rant was just jabber to me and I didnt feel the need to discuss it.
Cherrypicking I definitely think you are being hypocritical, if you were in a restaurant you or with your family and someone called you a racist name. You would react, rather if you are the president or the blue-collar guy out for the evening. But your ignorance shines through your post, so no need to discuss this any further.
Yes, I would react, but I do not have to. And neither does Perrilloux...he has too much riding on the line. Here is the part of the argument I don't understand. So reacts against to the guys that want him to react. What does he accomplish -- he can't hit the guy. Scenerio One: RP: Hey you guys are mean. Other Guys: I know Two: RP: Dont call me a n*****. OG: Shutup, n***** Three: RP: Yall are wrong and should think about what you have done. OG: You're right, we are. (They walk backwards like Peter on Family Guy and then kneel on the stairs and say 4 Hail Mary's) I'm no Our Lady of Peace but it seems as if by Ryan Perrilloux confronting the guys all that is going to happen is a ridiculously stupid story will make it sway to national media outlets and the racists guys won't feel one bit of regret. If Ryan feels like he has to say something no matter what then great for him. But the opportunity cost is too high in my eyes. There has already been an incident where he showed he didn't want to come back to meet the other party and discuss peace treaties in the Middle East.
You ever thought about being a screenwriter:hihi: now that was pretty damn good, seriously. But I get the point and I agree to a certain extent. I think you can confront it, say what you have to say and then walk away. you can bring the situation down with your words, it doesnt have to be insulting.
I agree with that. Selfishly it just scares me to elect RP as the one to do it. Doesnt he have friends?
When you are already on thin ice and have tens of millions to lose you might want to use better judgment and swallow your pride no matter how bad you prefer to respond. I'm not saying he did anything wrong, he just didn't do the smart thing which has been the knock on him all along. RP isn't a bad person, he just isn't the sharpest tool in the shed and it may end up costing him a promising and very lucrative NFL career. But then he will always be able to tell his grandchildren that he put that guy in his place....when he comes home from his job bagging groceries. It's not some redneck racist that RP has to worry about bringing him down, RP's biggest threat is himself. JMO
more immature than a full blown thug, but jesus, what does it take for him to begin to make better decsions? If he didn't have the other incidents, then this would be a non story. Who does this kid think he is, Cannon, Capone, or Ensminger?
All the idiots (racists, retards, Tulane fans, etc) in the world (or at least within 100 miles of RP's current location) are going to go after him now just to see if they can be the ones to generate the next press release. I'm not a conspiracy theory guy, but RP is a walking target for the jaggoffs. He can either deal with it and be a success in spite of them or react to it all and let them achieve their primary objectives. I'm sure people with the first name of "Coach" are having similar discussions with him.
