I was gonna post something similiar. Injuries happen. You have to get your backup prepared to come into the game. There is also mopup duty, of course. So yes, at some point in the season, RP will not be taking the snap from center for a stretch of time. Thus, Lee must be ready to step in. I just look at this as the player supporting their backup options at QB. And it's not like Lee is a horrible option, he is just inexperienced.

Remember...he played the SEC championship game with a "10 INCH HOLE" in his hand.:lol: Surely he wouldn't miss a game due to injury. The whole tone of the article is about RP's status...not whether or not Lee and Hatch will be any good during mop up duty. Look, I'm not saying anything anti-RP with this...but if you think that statement isn't about the current situation, you might wanna get some glasses that aren't quite so P&G tinted. I highly recommend Costa Del Mar 580's...with "Vermillion" colored lenses.
I'm not naive enough to think that a running QB couldn't suffer an injury that would keep him off the field. Riiiiiight. And print media has never been known to twist quotes in order to get a rise out of people naive enough to buy it. Never accused you of saying anything negative about RP. I accused you of accusing KW of doing it. You are naive to think he would make a statement like that about a teammate to the media.
Okeydokey. We just agree to disagree. I'm not accusing KW of anything, though. It's just the way I interpreted the quote. All I hear from "insiders" on here is how the team is fully behind RP. If so, that's great! But I have a hard time believing the whole team is OK with the circus. I don't think KW said anything derogatory...but I do think he is concerned about the situation...and rightfully so.
so what's the "crazy horse cabaret". am i too assume he was having dinner with some bouncers? the reveille article said rp called him osama but didnt say what his ethnicity is? i guess the waiter has to be arab/persian. the reveille has a name of a witness---seems to have some credibility. id bet the manager of the grill got tons of pressure and is now changing the story. i dont care if its true or not. should still be on the team. is calling an arab osama derogatory anyway? a majority of them like what he's doing so its kinda a compliment.
he must have learned from les that perfect practice makes perfect. hes getting good at this. i would assume a lot of the facts are exaggerated. osama? he can do better than that.
