is that true, because the new rumors have it the other way. either way that part is dead to me because it isnt as funny as calling a japanese man osama.
i dont know what to think. the news reports have this story all over the place. the one constant in both stories is the ebr sheriffs dept saying they did not receive any calls.
Am I the only one that is extremely confused? Just what the hell is going on? EDIT: Okie Tiger posts just a few seconds before me -- glad to see I'm not the only one.
there is no doubt that getting some facts out of the city of baton rouge is near impossible. hopefully the manager of the restaurant will eventually speak.
Press release not out yet but should be soon. Miles labled the incident as "mutual mistakes" and RP will be with the team on Sunday.
Good eye on the police thing. I was wondering if anyone else picked up on that. Did the police actually go to the restaurant or not? In the first Reveille story I cited above, its says "The police went to the restaurant, but Perrilloux had left by the time any officers arrived." In the second Reveille story, it says "Casey Hicks, public information director for the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, said the Sheriff's Office was not called out Sunday evening to Kona Grill." In the third Reveille article, the commentary, it says "Perrilloux...scrambled from the Grill before the police arrived."
Good to see the the Reveille is continuing the fine journalistic tradition they had back when I attended LSU. [/sarcasm]
