I mean, it seems missing team meetings and some classes isn't much for Miles to suspend the boy for seeing his father just died. Maybe I am just completely hoping RP is still our man but this could be a possibility, am I right?

Coach Miles' determination of his fit on the team is the point. Tons of talented folks out there, but talent is perishable and requires stewardship. RP isn't currently being a good steward of his own talent and, IMO, CLM is giving him AMPLE opportunities to learn to do just that.

I am waiting for the horses mouth to speak to accumulate an opinionated perspective on the events at hand. I have posted this thread twice to which one was a smarta$$ comment about nothing related and the other was a general opinion which I carefully omitted RP from. I am willing to withdraw the smarta$$ remark should it be found tasteless but the other I firmly stand by.

But I think the vast majority of the regular posters have all made it clear they hope this is not a big deal and that RP eventually puts all this crud behind him. Perhaps CLM is just trying to hold the kid's feet to the fire? I dunno. I hope so. As do you and Clair and many others.
