I have no clue what happened. I have heard rumors and I know people who know Ryan that won't totally dispute these rumors. However, they are rumors. There will always be rumors. That being said, it is incredibly naive to believe that RP was suspended indefintely because he missed a couple classes and team meetings. Incredibly naive.
well believe it, b/c it's what happened. period. Edit: LSU's own Tyrus Thomas was suspended 2 games for unexcused absence from a practice. you can't just not show up without telling someone.
You think that a two game suspension is comparable to an indefinite suspension that causes the most key player on the football team to miss Spring Training? Ty just blew the practice off. RP had a legitimate reason for missing. I'm sure that Ryan is your buddy and all, but that's either extremely naive or you simply have no clue whats going on.
spring= no big deal. no offense to those of you football fanatics that worship football and make a big deal out of every little nuance that happens in the football opps building. JaMarcus didn't need spring much when he missed it and responded with a season that earned him the Manning Award and the 1st pick in the draft. The QBs don't see pressure and don't get hit... ever... during spring... they have no defenses to read, etc... anyone can look good on 7-7 skeleton drills. spring's primary value is to settle position battles. It doesn't do a ton for undisputed starters.
