RP has been in trouble 3 times before the facts came out and was cleared in two of those cases but Miles is left with a difficult situation of fan perception. How many of those strikes really count in Miles' eyes because that is all that really matters. I do know that Miles has a father like presence with RP and rarely gives up on his players especially the ones with such a high profile. If Miles doesn't kick RP off the team within 2 days I do not see it happening. Right now I am trying to get some confirmation from a source of mine about the details. 1st time I asked him about it he said it could be as simple as RP not letting anyone know he was going to miss team meetings and classes after his father's death. (I consider this a rumor until I get official confirmation.) This is the responsibility of RP if that is the case and deserves consequences for thoses type of actions but is it really a death sentence?

Re: WWL siting inside sources from LSU/lsusport.net story - merged threads Listening to WWL this afternoon, this is the basic line of reasoning they were taking - he skipped out of meetings and school without clearing it with the coaching staff. Deke and Hokie were talking like this was a fact, but that doesn't mean it is. If this really is all it is, I personally think Miles will probably wish he had just handled the discipline/counseling in house and not suspended him. Which leads me to believe that there's more to the story and we probably won't hear it.
Re: WWL siting inside sources from LSU/lsusport.net story - merged threads The difference between RP and the rest of the "normal kids" is RP has a full ride scholarship to LSU. With that comes a greater responsibility than other "normal kids". He knows that, we know that. Thats the difference.

Re: WWL siting inside sources from LSU/lsusport.net story - merged threads There are a lots of things that happen to people that aren't announced and lots of things that happen that dont factor into decisions that the public generally thinks is a big deal when it is more due to other factors than the actual situation at hand. These prior situations govern new situations that happen in the future, that many dont know about again. Just saying.
