This whole event will be another learning experience for RP. It's his choice what to do. Anytime he is anywhere near a problem his name will be in the news. It comes with the territory. Is it worth the $$Millions he will make in the NFL if he stays out of trouble and leads LSU as a top collegiate QB next year? You bet it is and I would trade places with him in a minute. He just needs to understand and take responsibility for who he is, what he wants to be and how the public views him based on his actions.

The best thing Ryan Perrilloux can do is to take out his frustration on Bama and all other football opponents this year. He will not get in any trouble for giving a beat down to any opponent he faces on the football field. LSU loves it's football players who work hard, stay out of trouble and lead a good life. I have no doubt Ryan is a good person.

And now that the entire collegiate football world knows who he is and what happen last week they will be watching. Is there not a better way for RP to go out and have a great game, bring positive attention to his team , LSU and Ryan.

I'd say JaMarcus Russell, mainly because of this ESPN announcers quote from the Capital One bowl:
"The weaker arm is in there comparison-wise" when JaMarcus Russell got off the bench.:lol:
That announcer must've been drinking a bit too much.

Great post. I don't know who could disagree with that....but I am sure somebody will. I have seen stranger things in my brief but entertaining stint in here. :huh:

one thing i hope we do see is clm helping rp with some of his judgement decisions, like setting a ground rule about not hanging out with do. if rp is going to say out of trouble, he (imo) doesn't need to be hanging out with a guy who has a history of violent incidents. that only begs for trouble down the road.

Correct. You assumed the reports were true so you bashed the kid consistently. Your caveat is of no effect. What you (and a lot of others) should have done was to withhold judgement until the facts were known.

The rest? All you said was RP is a thug and should be off the team followed by if it's true the coaches will decide what to do.

Because you bashed him then had the temerity to proclaim "I did not bash" RP.
