According to ESPN's box score, he only got 298 yards passing. Is there a difference of opinion on that?

FSU's offense struggled again last night against Colorado. I think it's pretty clear where our conservative and predictable offense came from the last few years.

About RP, he looked really good in his first start. If he keeps his head on straight, he'll be a very special player before his days at LSU are over. The only negative I saw was locking onto his WRs, but that is pretty common for a young QB. But that won't work against better defenses.

Not intended to be a shot at RP, but, if Flynn had started we'd have had 21 points in the 1st quarter.

RP to TT already at 2 connections. Over\Under they catch JR and DB. I'll go under because RP seems to tuck it and run a bit much.

RP is still growing and developing as a quarterback. In all likelihood, he'll figure out how to pick his spots better as he progresses.

There has been no evidence of Ryan forcing throws this year, none at all. In fact he scrambles to throw the ball away instead of scrambling to lunge it downfield into triple coverage.

I never wanted to believe this. I always took up for JF when people bashed him here, but judging from Fla. St's offense this year, it appears this criticism of him was warranted.

I think it had more to do with RP locking onto his primary WR than waiting to make a big play. On crossing routes, he seemed to follow the WR all the way across the field, waiting for them to clear. Those routes take time and RP had to hold the ball longer. That happened on his INT when he didn't see the defender on the right and threw it right to him.

On shorter routes, he looked good. It was good to see us throw to a TE.

Watched the FSU/CU game last night as well, and that's what I was thinking, too.
