One of the things I liked best about watching this game on T.V. is that everybody was able to see Saban get in the face of Daniels after a bad play and then just a few moments later when Daniels made a good tackle Saban gives him a high five.

It shows potential recruits who are watching that Saban may jump on you when you mess up but he will also be the first to congratulate you when you make a good play.

Verne Lundquist called it "tough love." Another thing about it was that from the perspective of the average fan, what Daniels did (or didn't do -- he played weak coverage when he should have been up tight) did not seem to be that egregious, yet Saban went crazy because of the mental mistake. But, he went just as crazy congratulating Daniels for a good play two plays later.
