There's a hot headed "sucker" at every corner. There was a radio promotion here in Shreveport on an evening sports radio show that would give $100 or maybe $1,000 to any one that had the "rocks" to put on a crimson red Alabama shirt with "In Saban We Trust" written on the back of it and walk into some bar in Baton Rouge. The radio host guaranteed an ass whoopin'. He said he had no doubt in his mind that the person would get his ass beat on the spot.

Certain bait will catch certain fish every time.

Is this thread what TF has become? No, we don't know who Chadd is. We don't care what idiot e-mailers have to say. We also don't care about the typical jokes about inbred/stupid/Bear that go with Bama, if they're just made in general.

Good heavens, what a uniquely dumb thread.

Terry can probably give you more insight on this but I can tell you that Saban's first "project" is to win the in state recruiting battle and move outwards from there. If I was Saban I wouldn't go anywhere near Memphis after the mess we got ourselves into up there.

He really sounds arrogant in this article and kinda puts LSU down in a way , like if it wasn't for him LSU would be no where.

What Saban Doesnt Understand!!!

I want to start with i appreciate what Saban did for LSU and i think LSU did alot for Nick Saban's rep to get him a NFL job.

What he doesnt understand is LSU is a unique situation in college football. We are the only big time football team in a state where high school football is very important as well. We produce year in and out a good bit of talent.

What Saban did was keep that talent at home where other schools had been nitpicking our best from us.

He thought it was just because of him but this is where he has become mislead. The majority of players in Loisisana dream of playing for the tigers and are very loyal to our state.

And he has gone from being one of us to becoming the enemy. It is one thing to have never been at LSU but to turn on us and start thinking that the State of Louisiana is not loyal to LSU is a huge mistake on his part.

Tiger fans were good to him and he is crapping on us now and i can tell you this. He has burned bridges he doesnt even realize. He thought with his ego that because he is Nick Saban that he could just walk back in our State and get whoever he wanted. The arrogance and ego is going to humble him.

He might get a player or two and maybe even McNight but what he has done is create a firestorm in our State and he has gone from beloved to hated by alot of our fans and he has disrespected the current LSU Coach and if i am Les Miles i want to not only beat him but destroy him when we play them.

Nick Saban has no idea how much he has stirred the emotions of the Tiger Faithfull and he has lost all of the goodwill he had while Coach.

And he has no one to blame but himself.

He has made bad choices and has destroyed something that each and everyone of us values and that is your name and credibility. Even if by some miricle he does win alot at Alabama it will be looked at as winning the wrong way.

The values he supposedly believes in he has thrown out the door and he has sold his soul to the Devil.

When you look in the mirror at yourself in the morning there is no place to hide. He has destroyed something that he worked very hard to create and that is a good reputation.

Bama deserves Nick Saban because they sold their values down the river to get him.

Be carefull what you wish for.

Geaux Tigers and i cant tell you how glad i am, to have a man like Les Miles leading our tiger program.

He exudes class and i am talking about off the field and on the field.

Nick you cant hold Les's jock.

I sure hope he doesn't say LSU was winning this past season because of his recruits. That would be news to kids like Keiland Williams, Trindon Holliday, and a bunch of others!
