Re: $aban is After Joe McKnight

No one should dismiss Nick just because of his horrible reputation right now, he is definately capable of stealing a recruit or two. No one is going to waltz into La. and start stealing all the top recruits, ask Pete Carroll how that has worked out the last 4 years...but 1 or 2 per year is not out of the question. I don't think it'll be McKnight (ironically it could be Pete Carroll for JM this year heh), but the defensive players in La. will definately perk up now that he's there.

    Don't hold your breath...

Saban will be going hard after players like Ryan Williams from Mobile who figures to be the top CB prospect in the state this year.

In the short term, I figure that Saban will put most of his time in trying to get his defense figured out.

I would love to see McKnight commit to Saban sometime this week. On signing day I would like McKnight to fax his commitment to LSU. Wouldn't it be funny to listen to Saban and Alabama cry about someone not honoring their commitment?

If you're from Louisiana and you have the ability to suit up in purple and gold and step onto the turf at Tiger Stadium to represent your state...and you decide to go elsewhere...then don't let the doorknob hit you in the ass!

I love your plan:thumb: It would be so good to see $aban get a taste of his own medicine. A little stick back in his face.

The only people interested or believe all the crap being printed are ranters.

There is not one in a 100,000 that wouldn't do the same thing if $32,000,000. was on the line. Can you comprehend that number.

Would you take Saban's place for $32 Mil.

I have heard that McKnight and Bush are good friends and him seeing what they are doing to Bush right now has to tell him something about USC. I think that might play a little into the decision not to go to USC. There is a thread about this in the Recruiting Forum and the Pro Sports Forum also.

The Bama situation is a different story. I like Purple's plan. I think he just wants to make sure he has looked at all his options. I am not going to worry about it too much.
